Terms and Conditions


This is part of your agreement when attending a LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. event or workshop, subject to the following conditions:

  • LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of personal belongings while in attendance.

  • LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. accepts no liability for any injuries sustained whilst participating in an event or workshop.

  • LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. Staff must be notified of any changes to the information provided on the Booking Form.


All staff, including cover teachers (who may be brought in at short notice), are qualified, experienced and DBS checked. Volunteers and trainees on placements are all DBS checked. There is always a first aider on site for any event or workshop.


Racist, sexist and other offensive language and behaviour is not tolerated, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave an event without notice, the final decision being undertaken by the Company Director. Behaviour of staff, parents and students must always follow our code-of-conduct.

Please note that under no circumstances are pets allowed on event or workshop premises due to Health and Safety reasons.

LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. emergency mobile phone is kept with the Site Manager. The number will be given out upon registration and must only be used if there are problems regarding any of our events and workshops. Do not ring the office as there may not be anyone there.


Parents are not to allow their child to attend any event or workshop for LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. if they are feeling unwell or have a known injury which would prevent a student from fully taking part.

This includes presenting any contagious illness including (but not limited to): Chicken Pox, Head Lice, Common Cold, Flu and, as of March 2020, symptoms of COVID-19.

COVID-19: Parents are expected to follow government advice in relation to when to self-isolate. You must complete a health declaration form before attending any event or workshop for LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd..


Full payment must be received in advance to confirm a place on any event or workshop.

All deposits for our events are non-refundable and non-transferrable.


Occasionally some events may be cancelled due to circumstances beyond LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. control. The administration team will endeavour to contact paid customers and will either offer an exchange for the event (company credit) or, in rare cases of a cancellation, a full refund will be given (events will be on case-by-case basis).


If LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. cannot deliver any events or workshops due to force majeure or government directive, full refunds will be offered where possible.

If a child or household member is told to self-isolate by NHS Track and Trace (or equivalent service) alternative options will be provided to the student via video conferencing software if possible and at the discretion of LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd.. If the student is unwell and cannot take part, a refund for missed events or workshops will be made in the form of credit to be held by LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. for future events up to 12 months and at the discretion of LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. dependant on the individual circumstances.


LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. cannot offer a refund if voluntarily you do not attend our events or workshops. A full refund will be given if the chosen workshop date/event is fully booked on receipt of payment.

If a payment is made by BACs or PayPal, LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. reserve the right to make a £5 charge (taken from the original payment and consequently refund amount) to cover PayPal charges and administration costs.


Any items returned to LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. due to non collection from any sorting offices/depots will be subject to additional postage costs for the item to be resent. Items returned to us due to the fault of either LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. or our delivery providers will be resent at no extra cost. This includes Orders, Medals, Feedback Forms etc.

Please note that in the event of a delivery not arriving, please ensure that we are notified within 21 days for replacements to be issued. This includes Orders, LIVE Competition Feedback, LIVE Competition Awards/Trophies, ONLINE Medals/Trophies etc.

For any orders that arrive broken/damaged, please ensure that we are notified within 7 days so that we can both issue a replacement and put a claim in with the mailing service used.
